The 2019 California Wildfire Legislation created the California Catastrophe Response Council (Council) and the Wildfire Fund Administrator. The Council has nine members, shown in the chart below. The Governor, the Insurance Commissioner, the Treasurer, and the Secretary for Natural Resources may appoint designees to attend Council meetings in their place.
